We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to work night shifts in our 14-bed Emergency Room. About the Emergency Department

Our Emergency Room is designed around efficiency, safety, and compassionate care. The unit is staffed by a cohesive team that values open communication, shared responsibility, and clinical excellence. We aim to be a destination where patients choose to receive care, physicians choose to practice, and team members choose to grow.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide patient-centered nursing care using individualized care plans.

Administer medications, treatments, and collect required specimens.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating physicians and care teams as needed.

Support daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.

Coordinate with other departments for admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.

Advocate for patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

Educate and support families during critical care scenarios.

Qualifications, Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing required


Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

1–2 years of relevant clinical experience strongly preferred

Licensure:

Current RN license in the State of Kentucky

New graduates may practice under a provisional KY license for up to 6 months

Certifications (Required within specified timeframes):

Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of hire

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – within 6 months

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 6 months

Handle With Care (HWC) – within 6 months
