We are seeking a skilled Pediatric ECMO Specialist (Registered Nurse) to join a leading hospital team in Houston, TX. This role provides critical support to pediatric patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy. The ideal candidate has strong pediatric ICU or critical care experience, excellent judgment, and a passion for patient-centered care.
## ⚙️Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot ECMO circuits and patient hemodynamics.
* Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary critical care team.
* Perform patient assessments, documentation, and emergency interventions.
* Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and ECMO best practices.
* Support family education regarding ECMO and recovery processes.
* Participate in training, mentorship, and quality-improvement initiatives.
## Qualifications
✅ Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred).
✅ License: Active Texas RN License (unrestricted).
✅ Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in Pediatric ICU or Critical Care (ECMO experience preferred).
✅ Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. ECMO training or certification a plus.
✅ Skills: Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and equipment troubleshooting ability.
