Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Jersey
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a maximum of30 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of primary and specialty care principles, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology systems
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families on healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and other procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
