## About the Role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality mammography imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort, image accuracy, and compliance with safety and accreditation standards.
## ⚙️Key Responsibilities
* Perform mammography radiographic exams following safety protocols.
* Prepare and position patients, ensuring optimal imaging quality and comfort.
* Manage and monitor patient data accurately.
* Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing and support ACR accreditation.
* Report equipment issues, patient incidents, and any safety concerns.
* Participate in emergency call rotations as needed.
* Support continuing education and assist in mentoring junior staff.
## Minimum Qualifications
✅ Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology and Mammography Technology program.
✅ Licenses & Certifications:
* Texas Medical Board License (MRT – full or temporary)
* ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
* ARRT (M) – Registered Mammography Technologist
* BLS or ACLS Certification
✅ Experience:
Minimum 4 years of mammography technologist experience.
✅ Skills:
* Proficiency with imaging systems and QA procedures.
* Ability to lift/move patients safely.
* Excellent communication and patient care skills.
