About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic X-ray/CT Technologist to join our imaging team in Ottumwa, IA. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a mission-driven hospital setting where your expertise directly supports patient health and well-being.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including general radiography and computed tomography (CT). You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging and patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Assist with trauma and surgical imaging cases as needed
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
  • Accurately document and archive imaging data within the PACS system
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and radiologic standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT (R) certification or registry-eligible
  • Current Iowa Permit to Practice
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification (required)
  • CT experience preferred; on-the-job training may be available for qualified candidates
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
