### ** Position Summary**
As **Maintenance Unit Supervisor**, you will lead a union crew of electricians and mechanics on **12-hour rotating shifts**, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will act as the technical troubleshooter, apply root cause analysis, and collaborate with management to achieve performance goals.
### ** Key Responsibilities**
✅ Supervise & guide mechanical/electrical crafts for maintenance activities
✅ Lead planned/unplanned maintenance to hit department KPIs
✅ Foster a strong safety culture & conduct job-specific safety reviews
✅ Assign & prioritize work fairly based on critical needs
✅ Manage crew schedules (absences/vacations) & ensure coverage
✅ Perform root cause analysis to maintain or restore production
✅ Train & upskill crew members for technical development
### ** Qualifications**
**Required:**
* High School Diploma / GED (accredited institution)
* 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience
* 2+ years supervisory experience (with direct reports)
