About the role

Position Summary**


We are hiring an experienced **Supervising Attorney** to lead a team of attorneys and legal professionals for a top-tier financial services law division.

This role focuses on **foreclosure, mortgage, REO, and complex litigation management**, ensuring compliance with **FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac**, and investor guidelines.


The ideal candidate will have strong **legal, operational, and leadership** experience, along with a proven ability to manage departmental P&L and cross-functional operations.

### **Key Responsibilities**


* Lead and supervise attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff.

* Oversee **foreclosure and mortgage litigation** across multiple jurisdictions.

* Ensure compliance with **federal, state, and investor guidelines**.

* Manage **departmental P&L**, budget forecasting, and team KPIs.

* Coordinate with **HR, IT, Accounting, Title, REO, and Litigation** departments.

* Represent clients in **mediations, hearings, and trials**.

* Draft and implement **policies, SOPs, and performance goals**.

* Engage in **client relations, marketing, and legal outreach**.

### **Qualifications**


* **JD / Juris Doctor** from an accredited U.S. law school.

* **Licensed to practice in Alabama (required)** — GA or TN preferred.

* **8+ years** of litigation experience (foreclosure, title, bankruptcy, REO, evictions).

* Proven **leadership and departmental management** experience.

* Strong knowledge of **mortgage law, title, and financial litigation**.

* Proficient in **MS Office and legal research tools** (LexisNexis, Westlaw).
