Job Title: Senior Roadway Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL

Pay: $97,000 – \$145,000 / Year

Client:** (Confidential – DBE Certified Firm)

Eligibility: US Work Authorization Required (PE Registered in FL)

### Key Responsibilities


* Serve as **Lead Technical Engineer** / Engineer of Record for roadway design projects.

* Direct and assist with preparation of roadway plans, calculations, and documentation.

* Conduct field reviews and perform quality control reviews.

* Review roadway plans and documentation to ensure compliance with FDOT and AASHTO standards.

* Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

* Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

* Support marketing pursuits and business development efforts.

### Minimum Requirements


* Professional Engineer (**PE**) registered in Florida.

* **5+ years** of post-registration experience.

* Proven experience leading roadway design and production.

* Strong knowledge of FDOT and AASHTO design standards and criteria.

* Proficiency with **MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer (ORD)**.

* Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.

* Commitment to safety and interest in mentoring junior staff.
