PostgreSQL Database Administrators

Job Description & Experience :

• 5+ years of relevant experience PostgreSQL database
• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL database architectures that meet business requirements and performance standards
• Manage database security including user access controls, permissions, and authentication mechanisms
• Implement and manage high availability solutions through replication, clustering, and failover strategies
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to improve query execution times
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues with minimal downtime
• Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management
• Establish and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and query performance
• Implement automation solutions for routine database administration tasks
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements
• Document database configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes
