Join a leading packaging solutions company as a Plant Engineer, where you’ll play a vital role in driving safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement at our West Chicago facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll lead maintenance operations and capital projects while developing a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead maintenance team and drive equipment reliability through TPM and SPS frameworks
- Manage and execute capital improvement projects
- Analyze root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
- Train and upskill maintenance staff to enhance team capabilities
- Collaborate with leadership to support production goals and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years in plant engineering or 5+ years in manufacturing leadership
- Experience with CMMS systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of TPM and maintenance excellence frameworks
- Familiar with OSHA standards and root cause analysis tools
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
