About the role
About the Role
We are looking for an entry- to mid-level Geotechnical Designer to join our Atlanta office. You’ll contribute to vital infrastructure projects across Georgia and the Southeastern U.S. while developing hands-on geotechnical skills under the mentorship of experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical field investigations and foundation testing
- Assist in design and analysis using tools like A-Pile, L-Pile, Slide, and Settle 3D
- Maintain detailed project documentation and support construction submittals
- Respond to RFIs and support project teams on-site as needed
- Travel to job sites primarily within the Southeastern U.S.
- Work toward PE licensure within four years of hire
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical concentration
- EIT certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- PE licensure required within 4 years
- 0–5 years of experience in geotechnical design
- Familiarity with safety standards, cost tracking, and construction scheduling
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass pre-employment screening (drug-free workplace)
Work Environment
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Field work includes lifting up to 40 lbs, weather exposure, and site inspections
