About the role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team in Colorado Springs. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in inspection, quality control, and welding standards, particularly in compliance with AWS codes and ISO standards.
As a CWI, you will be responsible for inspecting welds, reviewing drawings, verifying compliance, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety across all welding operations. You will work closely with fabrication teams, engineers, and project managers to maintain quality control and resolve any welding-related issues.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid AWS CWI certification and have at least 3 years of inspection or quality control experience. Familiarity with technical drawings, welding procedures, and industry codes is essential. A CWE certification and hands-on welding experience are highly preferred.
