Job Description: Category Manager

Role Overview :-

A Category Manager is responsible for managing a specific product category as a strategic business unit. The role focuses on driving sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction through effective category planning, supplier management, pricing, and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:-

 Own and manage the assigned product category end to end

 Develop and execute category strategies and business plans

 Analyze sales, margins, and market trends to identify opportunities

 Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities

 Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms

 Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability

 Collaborate with internal teams

 Track category performance

Skills & Competencies:-

 Strong analytical and commercial skills

 Effective negotiation and vendor management abilities

 Strategic thinking with attention to detail

 Good communication

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Qualifications & Experience:-

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

 2–8 years of relevant experience in category management, buying, or procurement

 Sales and revenue growth

 Gross margin and profitability

 Market share

 Inventory turnover and availability

Job Role: Category Manager

Working Days : 5 days working ( Monday To Friday)
