Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team specializing in Casino Defense Litigation and Employment Law. This is a unique opportunity to represent high-profile clients in the casino and hospitality industries while advancing your legal career in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys in initial case evaluation and the development of litigation strategies
- Represent casino and hospitality industry clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Prepare for and conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Participate in settlement negotiations and draft related agreements
- Prepare legal briefs, motions, and case documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure case files are maintained in accordance with internal procedures
- Perform other related legal duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar admission required
- 2–4 years of experience in defense litigation (Casino/Hospitality law experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Employment Law
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software tools
