### Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced **Senior Civil Trial Attorney** with a proven track record in **jury and bench trials**.
The attorney will independently manage a **semi-autonomous caseload** from inception to appeal, with the opportunity to handle **high-exposure litigation**.
This hybrid role requires being onsite in **Fullerton, CA** for the first two weeks, then transitioning to hybrid with occasional in-person meetings.
### Key Responsibilities
* Manage full lifecycle of **civil litigation cases**: intake → discovery → motion practice → trial → appeal.
* Handle **jury selection, trial prep, and courtroom advocacy**.
* Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
* Conduct **legal research** on statutes, case law, and precedents.
* Interview and prepare **clients and witnesses**.
* Work with **trial experts** and manage evidence presentation.
* Represent clients at **hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials**.
* Stay updated on legal/regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly.
* Maintain clear, regular **client communications**.
### ✅ Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (JD) & **Active California Bar membership**.
* **10+ years civil litigation experience**, including:
* 10 jury trials taken to verdict.
* 5 bench trials taken to verdict.
* Strong expertise in:
* Trial advocacy & jury selection (voir dire).
* Civil law (contracts, torts, public entity litigation, personal injury).
* Motion drafting & depositions.
* State & Federal court procedures.
* Excellent **analytical, research, and communication skills**.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
