### Summary

We are seeking an **Assistant Maintenance Manager (Refrigeration)** to support the repair, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of all refrigeration systems at our San Antonio facility. This role involves **technical supervision, team leadership, and hands-on problem-solving** to ensure peak performance, safety, and compliance.

###Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily operations of the refrigeration department

* Supervise, train, and mentor refrigeration technicians

* Manage troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of systems

* Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to develop maintenance programs

* Ensure compliance with **safety protocols** and best practices

* Participate in hiring, training, and team development

* Drive **continuous improvement initiatives** through Quality Improvement Process

* Deliver timely reports on safety, production, and costs

### Required Qualifications

✅ Trade school diploma or equivalent technical training

✅ Minimum **3 years of refrigeration system maintenance & repair experience**

✅ Minimum **3 years supervisory/managerial experience** in industrial or commercial refrigeration

✅ Strong ability to read **schematics, sketches, and manuals**

✅ Hands-on proficiency with hand and shop tools

✅ Excellent **leadership, organizational, and communication skills**
