Role Overview

Lead Alation and Microsoft Fabric platform administration, metadata governance, and integration with data quality and analytics frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and high-performance data management.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and operate Alation Data Catalog integrated with diverse metadata sources
• 
  
• Implement automated ingestion pipelines via APIs and Python SDK
• 
  
• Govern metadata lifecycles using stewardship workflows, trust scores, and policy flags
• 
  
• Configure Alation Compose for governed query environments with role-based security
• 
  
• Lead integration of Alation with Microsoft Fabric, Purview, and Data Quality frameworks
• 
  
• Deploy and scale Microsoft Fabric including OneLake Lakehouses and analytics endpoints
• 
  
• Manage semantic model creation, deployment, and governance for Power BI
• 
  
• Implement centralized deployment pipelines across DEV/UAT/PROD environments
• 
  
• Enforce ABAC and MIP labels, conduct entitlement reviews, and ensure compliance
• 
  
• Collaborate with architects and GRC teams for golden record tracking and data audits
