QA Engineer

CLOUDSTRATS TECHNOLOGY PVT. LTD. is hiring a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Junior / Associate) to support software testing activities including functional testing, defect tracking, API validation, and quality assurance processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with QA Leads, Developers, Product Teams, and Business Analysts to ensure application quality, stability, and smooth releases. This role offers excellent learning opportunities, mentorship, and exposure to modern testing tools and QA practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA roles (including internships/projects).
• Basic understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing.
• Familiarity with Defect Tracking Tools such as Jira / GitLab / Bugzilla.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of Web Applications and client-server architecture.
• Basic knowledge of writing and executing test cases.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases for Functional, Integration, Regression, and Smoke Testing.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using GitLab / Jira / similar tools.
• Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
• Perform API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure proper resolution before closure.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities with business teams.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, defects, and execution reports.
• Coordinate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Perform basic UI / usability checks across browsers and devices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint testing activities.

• Maximum Budget: ₹40,000 per month
