About the role
As an IT Support Engineer at CRED IT Solutions, you will be the frontline guardian of our technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network resources for all internal teams. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide timely assistance through tickets and direct interactions, and maintain documentation of solutions to foster a knowledge‑sharing culture. Working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, you will partner closely with developers, system administrators, and business units to implement best practices, improve service reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support or help‑desk roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, active directory, and common office productivity suites.
- Proficiency with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple incidents.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve user-reported incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, providing root‑cause analysis and documentation.
- Configure, install, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and related systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential problems before they affect users.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement patches, updates, and security enhancements.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base of common issues and solutions for the support team.
Participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.Key Responsibilities:
• Provide end-user support for Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
• Configure, enable, and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all users.
• Troubleshoot MFA-related issues and assist users with authentication resets.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365 Admin Center.
• Monitor and resolve email flow issues, mailbox configurations, and distribution group updates.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes including account creation, deactivation, and backups.
• Implement and maintain security policies, including litigation hold and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with IT security teams to block suspicious domains, IDs, and manage mail flow rules.
• Retrieve and maintain audit logs, sign-in logs, and provide data for internal/external audits.
• Assist with backup integration and recovery processes for user accounts.
• Provide timely support for critical issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
• Collaborate with overseas offices and partner IT teams for troubleshooting and escalations.
