Data Governance Lead

As a Data Governance Lead at CLOUDSTRATS TECHNOLOGY PVT. LTD, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks that ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of critical business information. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including data engineering, analytics, compliance, and senior leadership—to define data policies, establish data stewardship roles, and embed best practices into daily operations. The role offers a collaborative environment where innovative thinking is encouraged, providing opportunities to mentor junior staff, influence enterprise‑wide data strategy, and drive measurable impact on decision‑making quality and regulatory adherence. You will also stay abreast of emerging data regulations and technologies, translating them into actionable initiatives that keep CRED IT Solutions at the forefront of data excellence.

Requirements:

• 10–11 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related data management disciplines.
• Proven expertise in establishing data policies, standards, and stewardship programs within large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry compliance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica Axon.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) and a solid background in data architecture or data engineering is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
• Hands-on governance experience with Talend Data Fabric (ETL, Data Quality, Metadata).
• Strong understanding of Qlik Sense architecture, data models, and dashboard governance.
• Expertise in Metadata Management, Data Cataloging, and Data Lineage Tracking.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (dimensional / normalized models).
• Experience implementing data quality frameworks and monitoring controls.
• Understanding of ETL / ELT pipelines, scheduling, and orchestration.
• Experience with data security controls, encryption, audit logging, and access governance.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and object storage/data lake environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
