About the role

NampaFirst is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Payroll department. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our employees regarding their payroll inquiries and concerns. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience while addressing a diverse range of payroll-related questions. A strong understanding of basic payroll principles is preferred, but we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary knowledge. You will be responsible for handling inquiries via phone, email, and potentially in-person, resolving issues efficiently and accurately. This includes answering questions about paychecks, deductions, tax withholding, and company payroll policies. The Customer Service Representative will also play a vital role in escalating complex issues to the appropriate payroll specialists and maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions. Proficiency in using payroll software or related systems is advantageous. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
