Azure devops engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the IT infrastructure.
2. Develop custom scripts as required to support the Continuous Integration & Deployment process.
3. Integrate different Continuous Integration & Deployment tools, including Azure DevOps, to achieve automation based on the defined target architecture.
4. Develop packaging, deployment documentation, and scripts for final builds to be used for production deployments.
5. Support agile development teams with builds and releases.
6. Implement release automation solutions using Azure DevOps pipelines as per the defined target architecture or operating model.
7. Implement Branching & Merging strategies in Azure Repos or Git.
8. Guide the team to solve build and deployment automation issues, including issues in Azure DevOps pipelines.
9. Design and implement release orchestration solutions for medium or large-sized projects.

Key Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Managed Disks, Blob Storage, Queue Storage, Service Bus, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Monitor is a must.
2. Proficiency with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, artifacts, boards).
3. Background in Linux/Unix Administration.
4. Experience with a wide variety of Open-Source tools.
5. Strong knowledge of SQL and MySQL database management.
6. Hands-on experience in managing Web Servers such as Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd, and Tomcat. (Apache experience is highly valued).
7. Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment scripts and cluster setups.
8. Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
9. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
10. Experience in environment setup, connectivity, first-line and second-line support.
11. Expertise in system security compliance, patching, and data security.
12. Application and infrastructure planning, testing, and development.
13. Experience with centralized configuration management, Log Management, and dashboards.

Required Skillsets:- DOCKER/KUBERNETES/GIT/JENKINS/LINUX/CICD PIPELINE.
