About the role
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead monthly close process for one or more plants
* Record inventory transactions, analyze variances, and report results
* Process weekly payroll via third-party provider (Paychex/ADP)
* Manage vendor invoice processing, approvals, and weekly check runs
* Support general accounting operations: GL reconciliations, pricing updates, cash application
* Assist with year-end close, audits, and special projects with the Accounting Manager

### **Qualifications**
✅ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting or Finance**
✅ 0–4+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing/cost accounting a plus)
✅ Experience with **ERP systems** and general ledger management preferred
✅ Payroll system experience (Paychex, ADP, etc.) a plus
✅ Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
✅ Solid understanding of **GAAP** and accounting procedures
✅ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
