### About the Role
We are seeking a **Licensed HVAC Design Engineer** to join a leading commercial HVAC firm in **North Texas**. This role is critical in supporting **design-assist projects, conceptual HVAC estimating, and quality control/commissioning** for a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects.

### Key Responsibilities
* Apply HVAC mechanical engineering expertise to deliver successful projects.
* Perform **building envelope and heat load calculations**.
* Select and specify **mechanical equipment**.
* Design **air distribution and hydronic piping systems**.
* Develop and document **building automation sequences of operation (SOO)** for heating/chilled water central plants and airside systems.
* Maintain **quality control** throughout design and construction phases.
### Qualifications
✅ **Bachelor’s Degree** in Mechanical Engineering (from an accredited U.S. program).
✅ **Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)** in Texas (required).
✅ Proven experience in **applied HVAC system design**.
✅ Resident of the **Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex** or willing to relocate.
✅ Demonstrated record of **successful project execution** and professional tenure.
