Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and articulate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL queries and basic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to validate data integrity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and maintain UAT test plans and test cases based on functional specifications and business requirements.
- Execute UAT cycles, document results, and track defects through resolution, ensuring timely closure.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and validate fixes.
- Facilitate UAT walkthroughs and demo sessions with key business stakeholders.
- Provide clear and concise status reports, highlighting test coverage, defect trends, and risk assessments.
- Continuously improve testing processes by incorporating best practices, automation where feasible, and feedback from retrospectives.
