About the role
CLOUDSTRATS TECHNOLOGY PVT. LTD. is hiring an experienced Test Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance strategy, validation processes, and testing governance across enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will lead QA planning, automation initiatives, team coordination, and quality controls to ensure reliable, defect-free, and high-performing software releases. This role requires strong leadership, testing expertise, and hands-on experience in automation frameworks.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA, with team leadership exposure.
- Strong expertise in QA Frameworks and testing governance.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, Defect Management.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman / Rest Assured or similar tools.
- Knowledge of regression, integration, functional, and UAT testing.
- Familiarity with Jira / GitLab / Test Management Tools.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise-level QA strategy, testing lifecycle, and governance models.
- Prepare and review Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, RTM, and execution reports.
- Lead functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing efforts.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for web/API/mobile applications.
- Manage defect lifecycle, severity prioritization, root cause analysis, and closure tracking.
- Coordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
- Track QA KPIs such as defect leakage, test coverage, execution progress, and release quality.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC / STLC processes and quality standards.
- Mentor QA Engineers and allocate testing resources effectively.
- Drive CI/CD aligned testing practices and automated regression suites.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend go-live readiness decisions.
