About the role
Linkworks Tech Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead/Architect to join our growing team and lead the development of our innovative payroll solutions. As a Technical Lead/Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure payroll systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.
Requirement:
- Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on payroll systems and related technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise-grade applications.
- Expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to Java, Python, .NET, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Role and responsibility:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of payroll systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, providing technical direction and support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement and maintain robust testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the payroll industry, recommending innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
