About the role
As a SYSTEM CENTER ENGINEER at CRED IT Solutions, you will be at the heart of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of Microsoft System Center environments. You will design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring, configuration management, and automation solutions that empower our teams to deliver high‑quality services. Working in a dynamic, collaborative setting, you will partner closely with network, security, and application specialists to troubleshoot complex issues, drive continuous improvement, and support critical business processes. Requirements:
- 5 to 6 years of hands‑on experience managing and supporting Microsoft System Center suite (Operations Manager, Configuration Manager, Orchestrator, Service Manager).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (Hyper‑V/VMware), and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and experience with automation tools.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and experience implementing monitoring and incident management workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, System Center certifications) are highly desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and configure System Center components to meet organizational monitoring and management requirements.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation runbooks for routine tasks and incident response.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Collaborate with security and network teams to integrate alerts, patches, and compliance checks across the environment.
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for System Center alerts, incidents, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and knowledge‑base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support as needed to maintain 24/7 service availability.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
