About the role
Position Overview**
We are seeking a **Senior Project Manager** to lead and grow the **Commercial Structured Cabling** division.
This is a **hybrid role combining Project Management, Division Leadership, and Business Development**.
The ideal candidate will bring an **active customer base**, a proven track record in **sales and business development**, and strong technical expertise in **structured cabling and low voltage installations**.
You will be responsible for **driving revenue growth, building a team, overseeing financials**, and ensuring **on-time, high-quality delivery** of projects across the MD/DC market.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage all aspects of **commercial structured cabling and low voltage installation projects**
* Bring and leverage existing **customer relationships** to generate new business opportunities
* Drive **sales and business development** efforts to expand market share
* Oversee departmental operations: **staffing, scheduling, training, and resource allocation**
* Ensure strong **financial management** by tracking budgets, margins, and profitability
* Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring adherence to **NEC, BICSI, safety & industry standards**
* Manage projects in **schools and hospitals**, ensuring compliance with regulations
* Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders for timely delivery

### ✅ **Required Qualifications**
* **7–10+ years** of experience in structured cabling and low voltage project management
* Proven success in **sales, business development, and client retention**
* Strong technical expertise in **structured cabling systems & low voltage installations**
* Experience managing **school and hospital construction projects**
* Ability to manage departmental operations, budgets, and margins effectively
* **BICSI certifications** highly preferred
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
* Must be based in or willing to commute to **Hampstead, MD** (with travel across MD/DC)
