SENIOR FMS ENGINEER (IT INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT)

As a Senior FMS Engineer (IT Infrastructure Support) at CRED IT Solutions, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the company's facility management systems that underpin critical IT operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including network engineers, data center managers, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration of FMS tools with the broader IT infrastructure. Requirements:

• 9–10 years of experience in Facility Management Systems (FMS) with a strong focus on IT infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining FMS platforms such as FM:Systems, Archibus, or similar tools.
• Hands‑on experience with networking concepts, server hardware, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management within an IT environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret complex system logs, and implement corrective actions swiftly.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of mentoring junior staff and coordinating with multi‑disciplinary teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of FMS solutions that support the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, conduct root‑cause analysis of incidents, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with network, server, and security teams to integrate FMS data with monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, documentation, and best practices for FMS operations.
• Drive automation projects using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to streamline routine tasks and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in capacity planning, risk assessments, and compliance audits to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
