Role Overview

We are looking for a highly responsible and technically strong Django Backend Developer who can take ownership of backend systems, mentor junior developers, and deliver scalable backend services.

The candidate will design microservices-based systems, implement asynchronous processing pipelines, and build high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complex backend systems independently while guiding 2–3 junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

· Develop scalable backend systems using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework

· Build high-performance REST APIs

· Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code

· Implement secure authentication and authorization

Microservices Architecture

· Design and implement microservices-based backend systems

· Define service boundaries and communication mechanisms

· Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and fault tolerant

Asynchronous Systems

· Implement background processing using Celery

· Integrate RabbitMQ and Kafka for messaging and event streaming

· Design event-driven workflows and distributed task processing

Project Ownership

· Take full ownership of backend modules and services

· Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

· Deliver features with minimal supervision

· Ensure documentation and maintainable architecture

Mentorship

· Mentor and guide 2–3 junior backend developers

· Conduct code reviews

· Promote best practices and development standards

Collaboration

· Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams

· Participate in technical discussions and architecture decisions
