Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BMC Helix CMDB Consultant with strong expertise in BMC Helix CMDB, Discovery, ITSM, and related workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining CMDB solutions while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and integration across the IT service management ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and maintain BMC Helix CMDB solutions.

Manage and optimize BMC Helix Discovery for automated asset and configuration data collection.

Design and maintain Configuration Items (CIs), relationships, and CMDB data models.

Support BMC Helix ITSM modules and related workflows.

Ensure CMDB data quality, governance, reconciliation, and normalization.

Integrate BMC Helix with enterprise applications and third-party tools.

Troubleshoot CMDB and Discovery-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and service management teams to improve CMDB accuracy.

Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in BMC Helix Suite.

Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix CMDB.

Expertise in BMC Helix Discovery.

Experience with BMC Helix ITSM modules and workflows.

Good understanding of CMDB architecture, CI lifecycle, reconciliation, and data governance.

Experience in integrations using APIs or other integration methods.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
