Requirements:

• A degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in grammar, syntax, and language rules
• Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or a related role, with a portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail and linguistic accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, and familiarity with content management systems and proofreading tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for language and learning

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and edit written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to develop and refine content, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Develop and maintain style guides, language guidelines, and branding resources to ensure consistency across all content platforms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, language evolution, and best practices in proofreading and editing, applying this knowledge to continuously improve content quality
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand content requirements, provide proofreading services, and meet deadlines
• Maintain a high level of quality, precision, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering error-free content that meets organizational standards

Budget:

• The maximum budget for this role is $70,000 per year, paid through payroll
