Requirements:
- Strong understanding of operational technology security principles, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and risk management
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods
- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix
- Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, are highly desirable
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats to operational technology systems
- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans to protect against cyber-attacks and other security threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure operational technology systems and architectures
- Provide expert guidance and support on operational technology security matters to internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in operational technology security, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our security posture
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on operational technology security best practices and awareness
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10 years of IT and OT security and related experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant at a multi-national firm.
• Experience managing multiple projects and tasks. Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, strong self-accountability, and results-driven in alignment with organizational goals.
• Experience with working with various information manufacturing/operational technologies (OT) technologies (e.g., AWS & Azure cloud technologies, networking technologies, OT security tools, business applications and architectural methodologies)
• Experience with information and manufacturing/operational technologies (OT) security processes, data classification processes, and industry standard implementation methodologies.
• Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining information security controls and associated processes.
Budget:
- This is a contract position with an hourly budget of $130 per hour
