NETWORK SECURITY SPECIALIST (EDR)

Job Title: Network Security Specialist (EDR) Location:- Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Security Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions such as SentinelOne and Trend Micro. The role involves monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to endpoint threats, ensuring robust endpoint security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment, configuration, and management of SentinelOne and Trend Micro EDR solutions
• Continuous monitoring of endpoints for malware, ransomware, and advanced threats
• Investigation and analysis of security alerts and incidents
• Performing incident response, containment, and remediation
• Managing endpoint security policies, agent installation, and updates
• Conducting threat hunting and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Handling L1/L2 level security incidents and escalating critical issues
• Analyzing logs, alerts, and dashboards for suspicious activities
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and policies
• Supporting vulnerability management and patching activities
• Coordination with SOC, IT, and network teams for incident resolution
• Maintaining documentation, reports, and audit records

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with:
• SentinelOne EDR platform
• Trend Micro Apex One / Vision One
• Good knowledge of endpoint protection, threat detection, and malware behavior
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, IOC analysis)
• Basic knowledge of SIEM tools and log correlation
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments
• Understanding of networking basics and security protocols
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Certifications:

• SentinelOne Certification (preferred)
• Trend Micro Certification (preferred)
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+

Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in EDR / SOC / Cybersecurity domain
• Experience in enterprise or managed security service environments preferred

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity / Engineering or equivalent
