Java Developer

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer with strong fundamentals in Core Java, Data Structures, Binary Search algorithms, and SQL. This is a W2-only opportunity with a preference for candidates currently in or open to relocating to Tempe, AZ. Strong communication skills are essential as you will work closely with cross-functional teams on backend architecture and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java (11/17) and Spring Boot
• Apply algorithmic thinking and implement efficient logic using Data Structures and Binary Search
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, driving best practices
• Ensure code quality via TDD, unit testing, and automation

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Data Structures and Binary Search
• Strong in SQL, including complex joins, indexing, and optimization
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Tempe, AZ

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
• Exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Angular
