About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with our back-end services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features, ensuring the delivery of exceptional mobile experiences to our users.

This role requires a strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem, attention to detail, and a passion for creating scalable, maintainable, and elegant mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain e-commerce applications for the iOS platform.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
  • Maintain high code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior developers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
  • Engage in design meetings and perform thorough code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
  • Deep understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
  • Strong proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience with caching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with e-commerce or consumer-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design best practices.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Attend daily stand-up meetings.
  • Work independently on assigned tickets and issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate in design meetings and technical discussions.
