About the role
Hiring a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Client's team in San Antonio, TX.
This role plays a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting fair, consistent employee treatment. The HR Generalist will focus on employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, and HR operations while also supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, and engagement initiatives.
### Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the **main POC for employee relations**, providing guidance to employees & managers.
* Conduct **workplace investigations** into harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
* Partner with leadership on **performance management & corrective actions**.
* Lead **recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding** processes.
* Maintain compliant **employment records & I-9 documentation**.
* Ensure compliance with **federal and state labor laws** and internal policies.
* Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and workplace events.
* Facilitate **training sessions** (compliance, harassment prevention, safety, etc.).
* Perform payroll support, job evaluations, and special HR projects.
### ✅ Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in **HR, Business Administration, or related field** (preferred).
* **3+ years HR experience**, ideally in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of **US employment laws & HR best practices**.
* Proficiency with **Microsoft Office Suite** (ADP knowledge is a plus).
* Excellent **organizational, written, and verbal communication skills**.
* Ability to handle sensitive matters with **confidentiality & professionalism**.
* **Bilingual (English/Spanish)** preferred.
