GCP Data Modeler

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, particularly in data modeling and data warehousing
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data governance, and data quality
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Entity-Relationship diagrams, Data Vault, or Star/Snowflake schemas
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data challenges and develop creative solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data models on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and scalability
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data models that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and other data governance artifacts to ensure data quality and compliance
• Work with data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports, providing insights and trends to business stakeholders
• Develop and implement data pipelines, using tools such as Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, or Cloud Data Fusion, to ingest, process, and transform large datasets
• Ensure data security and access controls, implementing row-level security, access control lists, and other security measures to protect sensitive data
