About the role
As a Database Engineer at CRED IT Solutions, you will be at the core of our data-driven initiatives, designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems that power critical business applications. Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and schema design.
- Experience with database backup, recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and data migration tasks.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Understanding of security best practices, data encryption, and compliance requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable database architectures to support application requirements.
- Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization to maximize database efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate databases into CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish and enforce security policies, including access controls and data encryption.
