About the role
As a Database Developer at CRED IT Solutions, you will be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives, designing, implementing, and optimizing robust database solutions that power critical business applications. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including software engineers, data analysts, and product managers to translate complex data requirements into efficient schemas, stored procedures, and performance‑tuned queries. Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in database development, design, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and strong knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Experience with database scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, PowerDesigner) and version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of data security, backup/recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain relational database schemas that meet application and business requirements.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for high‑performance data retrieval.
- Implement database indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies to improve query performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate database solutions into application code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor database health, conduct performance tuning, and resolve issues related to latency, deadlocks, and resource utilization.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance by applying appropriate access controls, encryption, and backup/recovery procedures.
