Job Summary
Frontline Nurse Staffing is hiring dedicated healthcare professionals for contract assignments supporting the Harris County Jail Correctional Health Division. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), and Psychiatric Technicians to join a collaborative clinical team providing critical care in a correctional health environment.

Shift & Schedule Structure
- RN & LVN Roles: 2-week Panama Rotation schedule
- Week 1: 3 days / 36 hours
- Week 2: 4 days / 48 hours
- CMA & Psych Tech Roles: Varying schedules with primary daytime coverage.
- Note: Due to strict facility scheduling and attendance policies, holding a secondary full-time position is not recommended.
Role Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of cumulative experience in Med-Surg, Emergency Room (ER), or ICU settings.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas (or Compact RN License).
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehab, Med-Surg, or Correctional Health.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Texas LVN license.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Certification: Valid Medical Assistant Certification (CMA / RMA / CCMA).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
Psychiatric Technician
- Certification: Active certification or state licensure as applicable.
- Experience: Background in behavioral health, psychiatric care, or correctional mental health preferred.
