BACKEND DEVELOPER

As a Backend Developer at CLOUDSTRAITS TECHNOLOGY PVT. LTD , you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust server‑side applications that power our innovative financial platforms. You will work closely with product managers, front‑end engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into scalable APIs, microservices, and data pipelines. Requirements:

• 8 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and working with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in an agile, cross‑functional team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance server‑side components and APIs that support core product features.
• Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to define contract specifications and ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers on backend technologies.
• Set up and manage containerized environments, orchestrate services with Kubernetes, and monitor system health using observability tools.
• Continuously improve system performance, security, and fault tolerance through profiling, testing, and refactoring.
