About the role
CLOUDSTRATS TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD is hiring a Backend Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems powering high-performance digital platforms. The ideal candidate will lead backend architecture decisions, build secure APIs, optimize databases, and ensure system reliability across enterprise-grade environments.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, QA, DevOps, and Data teams to deliver robust microservices and modern backend solutions using best engineering practices.
Requirements:
- 7–8 years of backend development experience in enterprise, SaaS, or FinTech environments.
- Strong expertise in at least one backend stack: Spring Boot / Django / FastAPI / Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices and distributed systems design.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL / MySQL with query optimization and schema design.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB / Redis.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of system design, scalability, performance tuning.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services using Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django/FastAPI), or Node.js.
- Build and implement microservices architecture, service contracts, and API standards.
- Lead backend design decisions including database schema design, performance optimization, and scalability planning.
- Implement secure authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC).
- Integrate backend systems with PostgreSQL / MySQL, external APIs, cache layers, and messaging systems.
- Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database performance.
- Establish coding standards, logging, testing, and error-handling best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration using GitLab / Jenkins / Docker.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system uptime, reliability, and response times.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions.
