### About the Role
Join a leading food manufacturing facility as an **Ammonia Refrigeration Technician**, responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ammonia refrigeration and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient production.
### ️Key Responsibilities
* Operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair **ammonia refrigeration systems**, boilers, water systems, and compressed air systems.
* Perform **planned maintenance** and maintain spiral freezers and refrigeration room integrity.
* Conduct **ammonia pump downs** for system repairs.
* Complete and digitize all required documentation (PSM modifications, work orders, operation notes).
* Follow all company policies, **GMPs, SOPs, and safety protocols**.
* Perform daily inspections of ammonia system temperatures and conditions.
* Conduct chemical testing of boilers and condenser towers.
### ✅ Required Qualifications
* 2+ years’ experience in **industrial ammonia refrigeration** (food manufacturing industry required).
* Ammonia Certification from **GCAP or RETA** (must).
* EPA **Type II Certification** (required).
* Must pass respirator fit test, Pulmonary Function Test, and 24-hour HAZMAT class.
* Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
