Job Title: AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that drive innovation and automation across our products and services. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI-driven solutions.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about machine learning, data-driven systems, and deploying models into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable AI/ML models and algorithms for predictive analytics, natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver AI-powered solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop, train, and validate machine learning models using large datasets.
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization pipelines.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production environments.
• Evaluate model performance, perform A/B testing, and iterate based on results.
• Work with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to integrate models with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML research and frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with data processing tools such as Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ML services (AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, or reinforcement learning.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices, model versioning, and automated retraining pipelines.
• Experience building real-time inference systems and large-scale data pipelines.
• Background in NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects are a plus.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and Agile sprints.
• Independently develop and test ML models and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy models to production.
• Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and system monitoring.
• Engage in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
